A Sweet and Easy Treat

As you all know I love Pinterest and found this recipe on there. I made them last night and we ate half the pan of them. I added the chocolate on top and it made them that much better. Who doesn't love chocolate! I could only find red, white, and blue sprinkles and so I am thinking I will have to make this dessert around the fourth of July too. :) Here is the link to the original recipe.  I hope you all enjoy them as much as my family did!

Another Great Pinterest FInd

I know I have told you all how I LOVE Pinterest and my husband could most of the time do without except when I find really good recipes! Last night I made Honey Sesame Chicken from Julie at Table For Two and it was sooo good so I recommend everyone try it. It is a crock pot recipe which is always nice when you have a busy day! I love the convenience of throwing it in the crock pot in the morning and it is ready that evening for dinner. Lately my 2 month old looses it right around the time I need to make dinner and wants to be held so yesterday it was nice to give her the attention she wants and deserves. The weather has been so nice here so I used my free time that is usually when I am cooking and played outside with my kids. I absolutely love days like those.
This isn't my picture :) I'm not that good at photography.

Why I Love Pinterest!

I recently joined Pinterest and am addicted just like everyone else that is on it. I love getting craft ideas, decorating ideas, or recipes. I recently have tried a few and they have all been good. I also have a huge sweet tooth and last night made this. It is a chocolate covered strawberry pie. It was DELICIOUS! My husband came home last night from work with a stomach ache and didn't eat with us. About 2 hours later he gets up and makes his way towards what I made for dinner so I asked him if he was feeling better. He responded with kinda but I can't eat dessert if I don't eat dinner. :) So he ate dinner which was also a new recipe, I will include a link for that too. It was Herbed Chicken and Orzo. He loved that and then went on to dessert and had two slices. My son also loved the pie. I am going to have to go to this blogger's post and tell her how much my family enjoyed her pie! If you get a chance you should make it because it is soooo GOOD!
