What All Texas Has To Offer!

So we have decided to make the best out of the next year and a half we have in Texas and are going to try and do everything and see everything Texas has to offer. It is a very big state so we will see how much we get done. We have already been to Dallas. We went the first year we got here for Brian's birthday. We went to the JFK museum and ate at Medieval Times. It was fun. We have gone to Austin many times. In Austin we have gone to South by Southwest, Austin City Limits, swam in Barton Creek,walked around UT's pretty campus, and spent New Year's eve 2009 on 6th St. I still would like to see all the bats! We have been to Round Rock and San Marcos Outlets for long days of shopping. And our latest excursion was a couple of weekends ago we went to McDade, TX for a watermelon festival. The watermelon was good and we were going to stay for the seed spitting contest but it was just to hot to be outside. Jackson was sweating so we headed into Austin for the rest of the day and hit up some shops. This weekend we are going to Walburg, TX to a German restaurant. On the weekends they have bands that play out back on a stage. We are going with friends so it should be fun!
