Updates

So it has been a little while since my last blog so this one is full of updates. I went to the doctor again and got to hear the heartbeat for the second time. It didn't take very long at all to find it this time and it was so strong. It is such a good feeling to hear my baby! I am now 16 weeks pregnant and not showing too much. I officially can not wear my shorts and pants without using a rubber band on the button to keep them closed. I bought some cute maternity clothes at Kohl's but have not worn them quite yet. It will only be a matter of time when that is all I wear. Here is a picture of me at 15 weeks.

Also, I have moved back on post. We are now in Patton Park with the higher ranking officers. Instead of a duplex we have our own freestanding house. It is very nice. We have 3 bedrooms and an office. Our backyard is a lot nicer then the one we had before. It has trees and nice big red barn like shed. Aubrey has her very own paradise back there. With the help of some Great friends I was able to get all the furniture and boxes moved from the storage unit to the house. Thanks Maddy, Chris, Elizabeth, and Ken! I will post pics of the inside of the house once I get it all unpacked and put together. Here is one pic of the outside of the house.

I also went to Italy with my family! It was so good to see them and spend time with them. We went to Rome, Venice, Florence, and Amalfi Coast. Florence was my favorite city. They were all pretty. The churches were amazing! I posted pictures on facebook. There are too many to put on here. The food didn't really agree with me over there, but I did enjoy the gelato. I had gelato every day!

An update on Brian! He is doing fine over there. He is really busy with the Afghan elections and other many things. He says the days fly by and that makes me happy to hear. I wish he could be home right now! But, I am so proud of him and everything he does! He is my hero! Well, that's about it. I go on Aug. 25 for my ultrasound and Brian and I can't wait to find out what our baby is!!! That will probably be my next post so until then.......
